Clear rules.
Visible outcomes.

Effective August 21, 2026. These rules describe how rankings, payments, identity, refunds, and moderation work.

01

How bidding works

A new listing chooses a target total of at least $2. An existing listing must increase its total by at least $1 and pays only the difference between its current total and new target.

Rankings sort by cumulative net USD paid, highest first. Equal totals are ordered by the earliest first successful payment, then by a stable internal identifier.

The suggested #1 amount is one dollar above the highest competing listing. You may choose a lower valid target and receive whatever rank that total earns.

Every board is independent. A payment changes one listing on one board and never raises the same destination on another board.

A Checkout session never reserves a position. Concurrent payments are added when they settle, and final net totals determine rank.

02

Listings and identity

Each board accepts the links that fit it: X profiles, LinkedIn profiles or companies, GitHub repositories, community invitations, or safe public HTTPS pages.

Meaningful URL paths are preserved so multiple listings on shared platforms stay distinct. Tracking parameters and fragments are removed, while platform profiles and repositories are normalized to their canonical form.

The display name and short description are derived from public page metadata with a safe board-aware fallback. Later bids on the same board retain that profile unless an administrator edits it.

URL shorteners, private or local destinations, impersonation, misleading identities, and destinations unrelated to the board are not accepted.

03

Payments and refunds

Polar processes one-time USD payments as merchant of record and emails the receipt. A browser success page does not change the board; only a verified Polar webhook can apply money to a listing.

Full or partial refunds are handled through Polar. Once Polar reports the refund, the listing’s net total falls and its position is recalculated.

Contact the site operator for duplicate charges, technical failures, or a purchase made without authorization. A change of mind or a later rank change does not automatically qualify for a refund.

04

Moderation

Paid listings publish immediately, but payment does not guarantee continued visibility. Administrators may hide an abusive or non-compliant board listing while preserving its payment records and its placements on other boards.

Prohibited content includes malware, phishing, fraud, illegal goods, explicit sexual content, harassment, hate, deceptive schemes, counterfeit products, gambling promotion, and infringement.

Boards may be clarified, archived, approved, or rejected to keep the directory useful. Financial totals are never fabricated or backfilled for appearance.

Plain-language disclosure

Claim the Board is advertising organized as a leaderboard. Position reflects money paid, not independent product quality or endorsement.
